Supply List

A Corgi puppy needs a crate, bed, toys, food, water, a collar or harness, and a leash. 

  • Crate: A crate that’s the right size for your puppy can help prevent them from chewing on things they shouldn’t. https://a.co/d/iv5Povx

  • Toys: Interactive toys like fetch, tug-of-war, and fly toys can help burn off energy and stimulate your puppy.

  • Water: A water dish. 

  • Collar or harness: A flat collar made of nylon, fabric, or leather is a safe option. You can attach identification and license tags to the collar. 

  • Leash: An adjustable, reflective, and easily washable leash is a good choice.

Training

Corgis are herding dogs that need mental and physical stimulation. You can take your Corgi on stimulating walks, play games like “find the treat,” or create obstacle courses.

Other considerations

You can place your puppy’s bed in a quiet corner where they can feel secure. You can also put a blanket from their first home in their new bed to help them settle.
